Good evening Warrior Families! This is Rich Shepler, Principal of Warren Central High School. Thank you to our students and staff for a very smooth first week back to school. Now that our Warriors have quickly settled into routine, please stress the importance of attendance with your child. It is imperative that every student is on time to every class period. This week we will begin checking for tardy and absent students.
We have also distributed IDs to all students this week. Students must wear their ID and lanyard throughout the school day.
Please note that if your child is a car rider or drives to school, door 1 unlocks at 6:45 a.m. each morning. For the end of day dismissal, student pick-up is at door 1 only. Please do not park by door 14 to pick up your student. Also, student drivers must have a valid parking permit and must park in lots 7 & 8 only. Violators may be towed.
During this first week, your child received the Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook. Please make time to review the handbook with your student, especially the attendance and dress code portion, which can be found on our website or app. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact your Warrior’s cohort office.
Lastly, Wednesday, August 14, from 6 – 8 p.m., we will host Meet the Teacher Night and Warrior After Hours sponsored by our PTSA. A number of our clubs and organizations will have information tables set up throughout the commons. This is a great opportunity for parents and students to get involved.
Thank you for your time, and we look forward to another great week.
