Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!
Good evening and happy Mother's Day to all moms and mother figures. We are coming up on 10 days remaining of the 23-24 school year. Students should be focused on finishing strong. Please take a few moments to review your students' grades and more importantly the percentage associated with each grade. There is still plenty of time to boost a grade to ensure a credit is earned. Seniors must complete all required coursework, assignments, and assessments by May 24 to be eligible for graduation. Students not meeting the credit and/or all associated graduation requirements will not be permitted to participate in our June 2nd commencement ceremony. Additionally, if your senior has not purchased their cap and gown they need to do so immediately. This upcoming week we will celebrate with our seniors with several senior week activities including our senior luncheon and class picture this Friday, May 17th. All students must have their cap and gown to participate. Please reach out to your student's counselor with any clarifying questions.
As we enter the last two weeks of school it continues to be important for students to be present everyday and actively participating in their learning. Students are expected to adhere to all school guidelines. Please continue to encourage your students to show CORE in all they do. Finally, we are no longer accepting or approving any request for early finals. Students will need to be here to submit final assignments, take any assessments, and submit any presentations. The last day for all students is May 24, 2024.
Have a great evening and again Happy Mother's Day.
