We have some important announcements for the week of September 25th. 

Warren Central Gold Brigade 

Congratulations to our Warren Central Gold Brigade Marching Band & Guard for earning 1st Place last Saturday at the Noblesville Invitation. They also earned caption awards for Best Music, Best Visual, Best General Effect, Best Drum Major, Elliott Poor, and Best Color Guard. The Gold Brigade was also WTHR’s Band of the Week last week! Check out their coverage here! Best of luck to the Gold Brigade when they compete this weekend in the Zionsville High School Invitational! 

Warren Central Performing Arts Performances

The newly renovated Warren Performing Arts Center will host the WCHS Fall Orchestra Concert tonight at 7:00 PM and the WCHS Fall Choir Concert tomorrow at 7:00 PM. General admission is $8 per show and tickets can be purchased here: Orchestra Concert and Choir Concert. Warren employees can attend for free with one guest by showing their District ID Badges at the door. 


Pleasant Run Elementary 

MSD Warren Township and Pleasant Run Elementary were showcased in the media this week for their outstanding growth and achievement in Literacy last school year. Pleasant Run Elementary was one of the top 5 highest growing schools in the state for their IREAD3 proficiency rate. Congratulations to the Pleasant Run community for your success. Hawthorne Elementary Open House 

We are excited to host the Hawthorne Elementary Open House tomorrow, September 26th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM as we celebrate the completion of their school renovations! Stop by to check out their new updated learning spaces! 

Warren School Board Candidate Forum

The Warren Township Council of PTA’s is hosting a School Board Candidate Forum at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 30th at the Warren Education and Community Center, 975 North Post Road. This is an opportunity to meet and hear from the 5 candidates running for the 4 open school board positions. This forum will also be live-streamed and can be viewed on the District’s website linked here

Parent / Caregiver Teacher Conferences 

The success of our students is grounded in the strong partnership between our teachers and families. To further support this collaboration, we have scheduled our District-wide Parent/Caregiver-Teacher Conferences for the evening of Thursday, October 3rd, and the morning of Friday, October 4th. Please note that there will be no school for students on Friday, October 4th, to ensure ample time for parents/caregivers and teachers to meet. Information on how to sign up for a conference time will be shared over the coming week.

Warren Central High School College and Career Fair 

As part of College and Career Go Week 2024, get excited and mark your calendars for the Warren Central High School College and Career Fair this Thursday, September 26, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM! No matter where you're headed—college, the armed forces, or the workforce—this is your chance to connect with experts who are ready to help you take that next big step toward your future! Don't miss the Financial Aid presentation by INVestEd of Indiana at 6:00 PM! You'll learn all about the FAFSA, scholarships, grants, and discover how to make college more affordable.

Enter through Door 1, bring all your questions, and get ready for an evening filled with opportunities! We can't wait to see you there!  

Family and  Caregiver Survey

Thank you to the families who have completed the Family and Caregiver  Survey. The window for the survey is open through Sunday, October 6th. We would greatly appreciate your input and feedback on what is going well in Warren and where we can get better. Links to your school’s survey can be found here.
