Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School and the Renaissance School!
We are continuing to settle into our new space, and I am happy to report that our students and staff are slowly but surely getting comfortable with the new environment. Thank you for your continued patience and support as we make this transition together.
A friendly reminder that Mid-Quarter 1 grades will be posted on September 2nd.
Additionally, teachers will be sending home updates regarding student progress in their Edmentum courses. I encourage you to take a few moments to review your student's progress and celebrate their successes while also identifying any areas where additional support may be needed.
If you have questions or need clarification about your student's progress, please don't hesitate to reach out directly to their teacher.
Important September Dates
Please mark your calendars for the following:
Monday, September 7 — No School
There will be no school for students in observance of Labor Day.
Tuesday, September 8 — Asynchronous E-Learning Day
There will be no in-person school for students due to staff professional development. Students will participate in an asynchronous E-Learning Day. Additional details regarding assignments and expectations will be shared with students closer to the date.
Attendance Matters!
As we continue to settle into the school year, please remember that student attendance is important. Please help ensure your student is:
Attending school every day
Arriving on time
Coming prepared to learn
Actively participating in their learning
Bringing their school-issued device to school each day
Every day and every instructional minute matters. Your partnership in helping your student establish strong attendance and learning habits makes a difference!
