Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of the Renaissance School!
No School Monday & Tuesday
A friendly reminder that there will be no school Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
Additionally, Tuesday, September 8, will be an asynchronous eLearning day for all students as our staff participates in professional development.n Students should log in to their Canvas courses and complete the assignments posted in all courses. Please note that completion of these assignments is what will be used to mark student attendance for the day.
Many teachers have already posted assignments, so please encourage your student to log in and complete their work as soon as possible.
Students will return to school on Wednesday, September 9, at our regularly scheduled time.

Keeping Our School Safe & Drug-Free
As you know, one of our top priorities is providing a safe, secure, and drug-free environment for every student.
Parents, please take a moment to talk with your student about the dangers of accepting or consuming unknown food, drinks, or other items from individuals, even if they are considered a friend.
Students should never consume something when they do not know exactly what it is or what it contains.
We also encourage students to speak up if they see something that could put themselves or others at risk. If you see something, say something.
Thank you for continuing to partner with us as we work together to keep Renaissance a safe place for all students to learn, grow, and succeed.
