Good Afternoon Warren Students, Families, and Staff, 

 We have a few VERY important announcements for the week of May 26th:

Just a reminder that tomorrow, May 27th and Friday, May 28th are early release days for all K-12 students. Elementary students will be dismissed at 2:05, Intermediate Middle School students at 2:55, and High School students at 1:20. Friday, May 28th is also an early release day for full day preschool students and there will be no PM preschool. 

Starting Tuesday, June 1st, summer food distribution for all kids 18 and under will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Brookview, Pleasant Run, Renaissance, Creston, Raymond Park, Warren Central High School, and Moorhead Community Resource Center. Tuesday’s distribution will include 2 breakfast and 2 lunch meals. Thursdays will include 5 breakfast and 5 lunch meals. Kids do not need to be present to pick up food. 

Warren is partnering with Community Health Network to provide a FREE COVID vaccination event for individuals 12 and older at Moorhead Community Resource Center from 3:00 - 6:00 PM on Tuesday,  June 15th to administer the first of two Pfizer vaccine shots, and Tuesday,  July 13th to administer the second vaccine dosage. Interested participants will need to fill out a short form indicating their preferred time. Form is  linked here, and can be found on our website under our COVID page. 

Warren is also partnering with the Marion County Public Health Department to provide a FREE COVID vaccination event at the Warren Central High School Fieldhouse for children ages 12 - 17 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday,  June 19th to administer the first of two Pfizer vaccine shots, and Saturday,  July 17th to administer the second vaccine dosage.  Interested participants will need to fill out a short form indicating their interest. I want to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our support staff and teachers of the year and a special recognition for  Ms. Karlee Mundell, New Teacher of the Year, Mr. Greg Butler, Administrator of the Year, Mrs. Elizabeth McClintock, Support Person of the Year, Ms. Nicole Simpson, Secondary Teacher of the Year, and Ms. Abigail Winebrenner, Elementary Teacher of the Year! We have inCREdible people in Warren and these recipients represent each one of them! 

Last but not least, as we end this school year, I want to thank our VIPs: our very important parents and caregivers. Your support, feedback, and partnership made this year possible.
